The beginning of the route is in the central square of Nea Fokaia and we go uphill which is asphalt, towards the exit of the village.
The village has rooms for rent, hotels, cafes, taverns, and you can find honey and tsipouro from the local producers. At a distance of only a few meters to the beach there are the famous sights of the village.
A. the TOWER OF NEAS FOKIAS – AGIOU PAVLOU (1407) It is made of stone, with a height of 17 m. and is the only one that has survived until its ramparts
B. the SANCTIFICATION OF SAINT PAUL According to history, the Apostle Paul took refuge at this point, in order to be saved from his persecutors. Paul the Apostle is the patron saint of Nea Fokaia and in this place every year on June 29 a brilliant celebration takes place.
2. At 1.84 km after the uphill we meet, on the main asphalt road that took us out of the village, an intersection (wpt 2)

and we continue our route following the road to the right through the fields to meet the main asphalt road Nea Fokaia - Thessaloniki.
3. After 2.15 km (wpt 3)

we will meet an intersection (after the dirt road ends) and we will continue our course to the left following the asphalt road to the big bridge that has a few meters left..
4. We continue our course following the central asphalt road until at 2.88 km we meet (wpt 4)

there is an intersection after the bridge and we will continue our journey by turning right on the side road to Nea Potidea. (it is asphalt)
5. At 4.35 km we will meet (wpt 5)

it has an intersection and we will continue our course straight uphill following the main asphalt road to Nea Potidaia.
6. At 8.85 km we will meet (wpt 6)

it has an intersection and we will continue straight to the right following the main asphalt road towards Nea Potidaia.
7. At 8.95 km we will meet (wpt 7)

it has an intersection and we will continue left downhill following the main asphalt road to Nea Potidaia.
8. At 9.94 km we will meet (wpt 8)

has a view point where you can see Nea Moudania and in the background Nea Triglia (when the purity of the atmosphere allows )
9. At 10.30 km we will meet (wpt 9)

where the intersection is located and we will continue our course straight downhill without leaving the main asphalt road to Nea Potidaia
10. At 11.27 km we will meet (wpt 10)

we have reached Nea Potidaia and we see the church of the village of Agios Georgios. We continue our way downhill..
11. At 11.62 km we will meet (wpt 11)
(altitude = 11m)
we have reached the intersection of the Primary school and we turn right to continue our course.
12. At 11.67 km we will meet (wpt 12)
(altitude = 8m)
it has an intersection and we will continue our course to the left towards the canal of Nea Potidaia.
13. At 11.74 km we will meet (wpt 13)
(altitude = 7m)
it has an intersection and we will continue our course to the right while following the canal of Nea Potidea.
14. At 11.83 km we will meet (wpt 14)
(altitude = 3m)
has a view point of the canal. The canal connects the Thermaic Gulf with the Toronean Gulf.
15. At 12.09 km we will meet (wpt 15)
(altitude = 1 m)
we arrived under the big bridge and the beginning of the Nea Potidea canal.
A few meters away is the beach of Nea Potidaia which is bathed by the Toronean Gulf.
The village of Nea Potidaia has many rooms for rent, hotels, wonderful taverns and bars to enjoy your walk in the area and have a pleasant vacation.
