The Panhellenic Road Cycling Championship of the categories of Young Men, Teenagers, Young Women and Juniors was held in Municipality of Kassandra, Halkidiki, the three-day period 15 – 17 April 2022. Cycling clubs from all over Greece claimed the Champion Title, in the following Competitions: The Individual Time Trial will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022, in the afternoon, on a hermetically sealed route to ensure the safety of the athletes, on the Kallithea National Road (lidl junction) towards Nea Potidaia. The cyclists of the Road Endurance race started on Saturday and Sunday morning from Kallithea and headed towards Kassandrea all together (warming up before the race). As soon as they returned to Kallithea, the race officially began in the direction of Kriopigi, Polychrono, Hanioti, Pefkohori, Paliouri, Ag. Paraskevi, Loutra Agia Paraskevi, Nea Skioni, Mola Kaliva, Kalandra junction, Skala Fourkas junction, Siviris junction, Kassandria with the beautiful beaches constantly next to the route, the athletes made the round of the amazingly beautiful Kassandra Peninsula and completing the round of the Leg, arriving in Kallithea, they completed their race with a circuit of 22 kilometers from Kallithea to Afitos, Nea Fokaia and continued to the Sani flyover and returned to Kallithea by the side road, next to the main national road. The athletes, depending on their category, made the corresponding turns in order to complete the prescribed kilometers for the Panhellenic Cycling Championship. On Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17, there were parallel actions in Kallithea where children and adults participated... Specifically, when the cyclists were on their way to their route, in the Center of Kallithea, there was first a cycling demonstration by the Association of Pefkohori, Ground Breakers where they set up an obstacle course, for all ages and there every cyclist young or old could practice their cycling skills!. The organization of the Panhellenic Championship, which takes place under the auspices of the Hellenic Cycling Federation (H.E.O.P.), was undertaken by Federation of Tourist Accommodation Entrepreneurs of Halkidiki - Thessaloniki "THERMALIA" based in Chanioti , in cooperation - support, with the Public Benefit Enterprise of the Municipality of Kassandra (KEDIK), the Chamber of Halkidiki, Regional Unit of Halkidiki, with AS PODILATIS THESSALONIKIS and the Racesystem organization of sports events.
