The start of the track is at the main town square, one can relax at the town center, by the fountain and chill out under the old plane tree. Kassandria is
positioned in the center of the Kassandra peninsula and is the municipality center, while being the largest village of the peninsula. It’s the cultural,
commercial and administrative center of the area and local activities include the Folklore Museum of the local Cultural club with their dancing groups,
the municipal auditorium, the town band and the most notorious festival is the one of Siviri, taking place every year at the Siviri open theater.

Keep straight uphill at the junction (tarmac).

Turn slightly to the left on tarmac.

A great viewpoint. To the South it ΄s Skala Fourka, the cape (Glossa) of Possidi, Kalandra. To the West it’s Olympus and to the east, mount Athos.

Peonidis. The village is small and traditional. You can have coffee or lunch and within 4km there is Skala Fourkas: a coastal village with a beach, cafes
and restaurants.
